PSYCHOLOGY CLUB

Accessibility

Last updated October 11, 2026

We want students with disabilities to be able to use this website and participate in the Psychology Club. Our website accessibility target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, consistent with Seattle Colleges’ published digital accessibility guidance. This is a design target, not a claim of completed certification or a comprehensive accessibility audit.

Request An Event Accommodation

For accessibility-related accommodations for a club meeting or event, contact Seattle Central College’s Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) at ARC.Central@seattlecolleges.edu or 206-934-4183. Relay users can dial 711. Contact ARC as early as possible to discuss your needs. Please send disability documentation to ARC, not through a club application form.

Report A Website Barrier Or Request Another Format

Email PsychologyClub@seattlecolleges.edu with the page address, the task you were trying to complete, and the barrier you encountered. You may include your browser or assistive technology if useful; you do not need to disclose a diagnosis.

If the signup or officer application form is difficult to use, contact the club to request an accessible alternative or assistance. Include only the contact information needed to respond.

Accessibility Features

The site uses headings and page landmarks, labeled form controls, keyboard-operable buttons and expandable answers, visible focus indicators, and a skip-to-content link. Layouts adapt to smaller screens, text can be enlarged using browser controls, and reduced-motion preferences disable smooth scrolling. Eligibility requirements are presented in text and do not rely on color alone.

Current Limitations

A comprehensive screen-reader and accessibility audit has not been completed. Linked Google Forms, Instagram, and Netlify preview interfaces are maintained by their providers and may behave differently from this website. Please report barriers so we can address them or provide another route to the same information.
